The sad part of our Universe!
What if I say that the most beautiful thing in this Universe is in front of you, but you are blind?
Why do people like astrophotography? Because it is beautiful and spectacular. I like to watch and see these images; I even use them as wallpapers.
The Nebulae, Galaxies, Stellar Remnants and colorful mixture of dust and snow, art the most beautiful part of this Universe.
Most of the people don’t know, and I hate to say this, but all those colorful galaxies and nebulae we see in the space photographs are not visible to us with the naked eyes.

All the spectacular images you are observing above are not visible to naked eyes. Now, if you ask why is that? So, the explanation is something like this.
The Human eyes are designed in such a way that it can only observe or watch the light whose wavelength lies between the Visible Region. There are 7 different types of wavelength ranges:
Radio Waves (Range: > 1 mm)
Microwave Waves (Range: 1 mm - 25 μm)
Infrared Waves (Range: 25 μm - 2.5 μm)
Visible Region (Range: 750 nm - 400 nm)
Ultraviolet Rays (Range: 400 nm - 1 nm)
X-Rays (Range: 1 nm - 1 pm)
Gamma Rays (Range: < 10-12 m)
So, in all 7 of them, our human eyes are only capable of seeing the Visible Region. Almost every galaxy and nebulae are made up of matter which releases light with the wavelength range of Infrared Region and Ultraviolet Region, which can only be observed with special lens cameras and telescopes.
If somehow technology invents a way to travel physically to these nebulae and galaxies, we will never be able to see them with our naked eyes. Yes, that is a different matter, by that time such glasses will also be made, by which we can observe them, but still natural is natural. Isn’t this sad?
